Fred.

Came in to Anne Arundel County Animal Care & Control on September 3^rd of 2022 as a stray. Sadly no one has claimed this sweet fellow. He is estimated to be about 8 years old, neutered, and is 129 pounds – which is a bit heavy for him.

He loves walks, physical attention, and water. Boy does he love to flop down in a pool of water. No issues with food or toy possessiveness, and he doesn’t mind to have his mouth or feet touched. In fact, he loves pets and attention.  He is easy to collar and to leash for walks.

Fred is looking for someone to enjoy his golden years with him. Someone who likes long walks in the park and a curl up in front of the T.V.

A dog like Fred would have been adopted in a heat beat a few short months ago but things have slowed down for all shelters. We know that taking on a dog during these uncertain times might be challenging for some. We get it. If you could do one thing to help Fred find a home, that would be spreading the word to as many of your friends as you are able. We would love to get Fred’s picture in everyone’s Facebook feed.
