Otto is a 3 month old male, black and tan German Shepherd. He was evaluated by a behavorist at 9 weks old. The finding are: 

• environmentally focused and confident to explore
• no sound sensitivity
• social and sweet, but not exceedingly human focused so needs work on engagement
• also needs work on bite inhibition
• tolerates handling, but does not like it, needs work on handling through conditioning
• curious about environment and will get into everything!
• will be a heavy chewer and pushy during adolescence--needs structure
• orally focused
• needs work on engagement and focus
• could develop defensive or reactive behavior if not handled often
• NOT a dog park dog

UPDATE: Since his initial evaluation, the behaviorist and fosters have been working with him on his socialization with handling, people, and dogs. He is now very social with people and enjoys handling and being held. He is social with calm, tolerant dogs and needs continued work with dogs. He is NOT a dog park dog.
